Cynthia’s Project first came to Offshore Clipping when a product launch outpaced their in-house editing capacity. What started as a single urgent request became an ongoing rush-delivery partnership. Over the engagement, our team removed the background of 2,225 product images on same-day turnarounds. These products included gadgets, tech accessories, and kitchenware. We handled each finished batch straight to Cynthia’s marketing team, ready to upload without a second look.
Story Behind the Brand
Cynthia’s project is a USA-based eCommerce and marketing brand that lives and dies by how fast it can turn new inventory into live listings. New products get photographed, edited, and published on tight internal schedules, often timed around promotions or restocks that can’t slip. When order volume spikes, background removal work piles up fast. Cynthia’s in-house team, however capable, only has so many hours in a day. That’s the gap Offshore Clipping was brought in to close.
What Cynthia’s Team Needed From an Editing Partner
- 2-day turnaround, most of the time, with no exceptions made for rush batches
- Clean, consistent background removal across large, mixed-quality image sets
- A responsive point of contact who could take last-minute requests without friction
- Files delivered upload-ready, with no extra rework needed on their end
Challenges
Cynthia’s team brought a clear, demanding brief. Meeting it meant solving a few problems at once:
- Unpredictable rush volume. Order spikes meant Offshore Clipping often had little advance warning before large batches landed on short notice.
- Zero room for delay. Listings were frequently scheduled around launches and promotions. So a missed deadline meant a missed sales window.
- Consistency at scale. With thousands of images moving through rush queues, even small inconsistencies in cropping or background tone would stand out across a catalog.
- A time zone gap. Coordinating a USA-based marketing team with a Bangladesh-based editing team meant requests could land outside normal working hours.
How We Delivered Short Turnaround Background Removal at Scale
- Built a dedicated rush queue. Rather than mixing urgent orders into standard turnaround pipelines, we set up a priority queue specifically for Cynthia’s Project. So rush requests were picked up the moment they landed.
- Covered US business hours with overlapping shifts. We adjusted internal shift schedules so an editor was always active during Cynthia’s team’s working hours, closing the time zone gap that could otherwise slow down rush requests.
- Split large batches to avoid crossover. On high-volume days, we sorted and divided image sets upfront across multiple editors. So no two people worked the same file, and every batch moved through the queue at a consistent pace.
- Ran every batch through quality control before handover. A dedicated QC step checked each finished set against Cynthia’s brand style before it went out. So her team could upload straight from the delivered files.

Clean Backgrounds, Faster Launches, Stronger Reliability
After the edited images went live, the impact showed up quickly across Cynthia’s catalog and workflow:
- Faster time-to-listing. With background removal no longer a bottleneck, Cynthia’s team could move new products from photography to live listing without waiting on edits.
- A reliable rush-order partner. Ryan and the rest of Cynthia’s marketing team could send last-minute requests knowing they’d get a quick response, not a queue.
- Scale without sacrificing consistency. All 2,225 images across the engagement carried the same clean, brand-ready look, whether they arrived in a batch of ten or a batch of two hundred.
